A Toronto native, Karim Dharssi completed medical school in Manitoba and interned at the University of Toronto. Convinced of the effectiveness of team-based care in family medicine, he set up his own innovative practice in Orillia, ON. in 2009. Since then, he has steadily increased the size of his team and his practice: Karim and his team of physician extenders now look after a large roster of patients, impressively with access to same or next-day care.
